All Physio pads have an upper line which conforms to the horse’s back and the specific type of saddle. They offer ideal pressure absorbance and distribution.
This system produces an additional channel above the spinal processes.
It consists of two parts which absorb pressure and are attached to each other with Velcro, for a secure non-slip hold:
a. Lower part:
Anatomically shaped with cut-out for close leg contact, complete with pockets which allow easy removing of pressure absorbing PU-shims which build the spinal channel (PU-foam is included). The underside consists mainly (2/3) of Sypanova to ensure a non-slip fit even on wide-barrelled horses, the remaining (1/3) part in the rear is lined with pure wool to reduce rubbing / hair breaking.
b. Upper part
Dimensionally stable made from durable quilted cotton with felt underside, Sypanova on top (keeps the saddle in place and additionally absorbs pressure).
Velcro tabs to attach to saddle.
Physio Pads can be washed at 30 degrees C.
