The Barefoot Bridle 'Devon' is designed as per Barefoot's philosophy “for riders who care”.

Brow- and noseband of the Barefoot 'Bridle Devon' as well as the headpiece are fully padded. The soft padding, made from calfskin with neoprene lining, prevents too much pressure being applied to the poll and the bridge of the nose. They are wider than the extra narrow and extra flat leather overlay which makes this bridle very flexible. It avoids rubbing the delicate skin along the horse‘s head.
The bridle runs embedded onto the wide, soft poll padding in order to protect the sensitive part behind the ears and take pressure off the first vertebrae of the neck.

Barefoot have not added a flash noseband to the 'Devon' Bridle with the horses comfort in mind:

We believe that flash nosebands are unnecessary. A horse which trusts his rider‘s hands does not open his mouth in order to get away – unless he has problems with his teeth or does not like his bit. Tying the horse‘s mouth shut does not solve this problem, but having the teeth checked regularly or riding bitless will.

This bridle comes inclusive nylon reins with woven-in rubber fabric which offer maximum grip even when wet.
